Thanks Soula. Good report. I read a chunk of Nato in the Balkans last night. Hope to finish in a day or two. Nothing less than astounding.  It seems that no matter how used to being lied to we are, there are ways for the lies to continue to work.  The book makes the historical imperialist objectives for Yugoslavia clear, but it also documents the complete fabrication of atrocities for the purpose of standing reality on its head.  For example, Croatia broke away from Yugoslavia and revivied its fascist organizations from WWII.  So western imperialism figures out that they have to make it appear that its the Serbs who are the facsists and not in fact the people we are financing (the Croates and others).  So they manufacture stories about all kinds of atrocities.  You will have to read this to believe the degree of thought control exercised here.  

In Sara Flounders chapter, she has a quote from an interview done In April of '93 by Jacques Merlino of French TV2 with James Harff, who is the director of Ruder Finn Global Public Affairs in Wash DC. Harff is bragging to Merlino about the service he has rendered to his clients, Croatia, and Bosnia-Herzegavina. They have a bit  of a public image problem ( as they are in fact fascists) , but Harff deals with that. Merlino points out that Harff really had no information that these "death camps" of the Serbs actually existed. Harff states:

"Our work is not to verify information. We are not equipped for that. Our work is to accelerate  the circulation of information favorable to us, to aim at judiciously shosen targets. We did not confirm the existence of death camps in Bosnia, we just made it widely known that Newsday had affirmed it...We are professional. We had a job to do, and we did it. we are not paid to moralize."  

So Soula, what is there to say about people like this? I don't know. They have zero 00000000 regard for human life. They are in fact beasts! They are subhuman. They need power. They thrive on power, and they have power.Clinton is clearly one of these satanic figures. He is the smiling face of the biggest extortion and murder ring ever known in history. They are the ritual abuse cult that we have been hearing about. And somehow they have convinced millions of people to worship them! Worship the people to whom you are not human. You are nothing but a resource to be exploited or terminated. They are truly beasts.

Where to go from here my dear? Escape to the forest? I don't have a clue today. Try to do a little less harm each day.  I want a bumper sticker for the car that says: Just for today, let's you and I agree to try not to kill each other with our cars?

I find it hard to start the day by facing the reality that the total disregard for the value of human life is rampant.  I know this may sound crazy, and like an exageration, but it feels this way in the morning. Not much love is obvious. Maybe the thing to look at is that it is not everybody trying to kill each other all the time. Thet says something basically good about all of us. Power is something humans can't handle at all. It perverts instantly.

I'm going to live in a cave and eat grubs. Grub grub.

The new report you sent me reminded me of what Bill Mandel wrote:

The big news resulting from the Kosovo War, buried on an inside page of today's S.F. Chronicle, is that the U.S. has so antagonized ALL its "partners" in NATO that they have just revived the European Union military force, dormant since 1948 because the U.S. established NATO the following year and was able to force them all to join, since they were then in hock to "us" up to their necks. This force means that the military stage is set for World Imperialist War III, to defend the new euro currency and its worldwide competition with the dollar. For example, European investments in Africa are vastly larger than U.S. So are their investments in Russia. In this new situation, China-India-Russia will be the swing force in the world, able to dictate terms, unless the U.S. wants to take on everyone. I do not foresee "the guns of August" in the immediate future, but certainly expect such a crisis in the lifetimes of the recipients of this list, if not in mine.

Thanks for sharing the March with me, Soula. Yes, I did see "Wag the Dog" - now we are living it. I cannot even begin to express the depth of my disappointment with Clinton, for everything he has done, for the immature and witless way he has squandered his time in the Presidency. My cynicism expands. In any case, thanks for sharing your writing, and the knowledge that somewhere in the country people still protest (certainly not in Pittsburgh)
